10 Bachelorette Party Surprises That Are NOT a Stripper

Collect, manage, and organize your wedding guest information for each event and track their preferences.
Not all brides are crossing their fingers that a sexy fireman or a sultry police officer will show up at their bachelorette bash! In fact, more and more brides-to-be are searching for more enjoyable and creative ways to celebrate the end of their single era with those they know and love. Not only is booking a stripper pretty pricey, but it often creates conflict between the bride and groom. So, before you hire that Magic Mike look-alike to make an appearance, check out ten other ways to surprise the bride-to-be (and put all those dollar bills to good use).

1.
Fly in a friend from far away

Having the bride’s closest friends and family members present during her bachelorette party is always a must to help her kick off the wedding festivities. However, in some cases, there is one special person who can’t make it. If your bride has a pal who couldn't make the trek for financial reasons, consider putting the stripper money towards her flight. This will be the ultimate surprise and a sweet memory for all!

2.
Hire a professional chef

We can all agree that one of the greatest pleasures in life is eating delicious food (especially when you don’t have to cook). If you want to put the eye candy funds to better use, consider hiring a local chef to come prepare dinner for the bride and the rest of the bridal party before a big night out. You can request a menu of some of her favorite foods or have the chef surprise everyone with a special menu of their choice.

3.
Treat the bride to a spa

With all the running around the bride has going on in preparation for her big day, there is nothing she needs more than some rest and relaxation. With that in mind, consider treating the whole crew to an afternoon at the spa. Lots of spas offer bachelorette spa packages that include a range of services including facials, massages, skin treatments and more depending on the tier you select. This is a great way to have some girl time while getting the bride well rested and rejuvenated for the events to follow.

4.
Hire a stylist for the bride.

Whether or not your bride-to-be bestie would consider herself a fashionista, there’s no denying how beautiful and powerful a woman can feel in the right clothes. Give your bride the gift of style by hiring a professional to help her pick out a new party outfit or a few pieces she can wear well beyond her bachelorette party. Not only will you be making her look and feel beautiful, but she can warmly reminisce about the experience every time she pulls those pieces out of her closet.

5.
Book a sweet suite

Sometimes a change of scenery is the best experience you can gift someone you love. To help make the bride feel extra special, you as her bridal party crew should pool those stripper funds together and reserve a super comfy hotel room where the gals can hang out all weekend long. You can choose a suite that has amenities you all can partake in during your stay or instead choose a suite that is spacious and relaxing enough utilize to your hearts’ content.

6.
Bring in a Tarot Card Reader or a Fortune Teller

Strippers aren't the only special guests who can entertain. If you want to bring in some wholesome outside entertainment for your bride, try booking a tarot card reader or fortune teller to read everyone’s future. You may be surprised by how accurate they can be, and in the worst-case scenario where the readings may miss the mark, at least you can all have a good time and share some laughs.

7.
Snag tickets to a concert

If luck is on your side and one of the bride’s favorite artists or bands is performing during a time when you can make it the main event for her bachelorette celebration, then definitely go ahead and secure those group tickets. If there isn’t anyone in particular your bride is interested in seeing, then consider dressing up and hitting up a classical or jazz concert. It’ll be a new and relaxing experience that will definitely elevate the night.

8.
Serve up a themed snacks

Instead of throwing dollar bills, spend them on ingredients to make themed snacks and/or drinks for the bride and bridal party. You can create bridal themed food and cocktails or you can surprise the bride with how well you know her by having each attendee create something that she loves or something that represents a special memory of her. This can be a snack you ate all the time in college or your go to cocktails to have after work. This is an affordable and meaningful activity that’ll give everyone a chance to show the bride their love.

9.
Schedule a group yoga sesh

Wrap up the weekend with a morning yoga session to get the bride and all the girls feeling their very best. Regardless of everyone’s level of activity, yoga is the perfect way to move your bodies and feel much lighter by the end of your session. If you want to add a unique little twist on it, then look up your nearest goat yoga class to really surprise the bride.

10.

Whether you’re booking a boat or a yacht, spending the day on the water, soaking up the sun and having a few drinks with the girls is a good time waiting to happen. Keep in mind that you’ll have to provide your own food and drinks, but it’s well worth it for the views and relaxation you’ll all be able to enjoy.
